Intensive Resurfacing Serum, featuring 5 different types of retinol and concentrated in the [RETINOL] 5 complex, is designed to restore skin's health and natural texture.
The power of retinol captured in the [RETINOL]5 complex, a combination of 5 retinol-like active ingredients, including 0.3% pure retinol. The serum acts on 5 age-related features: wrinkles, dark spots, sagging, uneven skin texture, and lack of radiance. Thanks to its powerful resurfacing properties, it acts effectively on the most pronounced signs of aging: wrinkles, fine lines, skin sagging, and dark spots.
- As retinol can be slightly irritating, we recommend introducing it gradually into your routine:
First week: Use every third night.
Second week: Use every other night.
Third week: Use every night according to your tolerance.
- If irritation occurs, reduce usage frequency or the amount applied until the skin adjusts, then increase as tolerated.
- The morning after, apply sunscreen and avoid direct exposure to the sun.
0.3% PURE RETINOL
Stimulates the production of skin’s structural proteins: collagen, elastin, etc. Promotes skin cell renewal and induces a keratolytic action.
ENCAPSULATED RETINOL
In a microencapsulated form, it stabilizes and helps retinol penetrate the epidermis. This allows for a gradual release of the active ingredient, enhancing skin tolerance.
RETINOID ESTER
A form of vitamin A, less irritating and more stable than retinol.
BAKUCHIOL
A plant-derived ingredient extracted from Psorelea corylifolia. It has antioxidant properties, promotes cellular turnover, and stimulates collagen production.
PEPTILIUM
Natural biopeptides derived from a cranberry co-product. Improves the quality of the dermoepidermal junction and the dermal matrix, providing a wrinkle-reducing action.
Avoid certain combinations:
Retinol, which is already highly active, should not be combined with other resurfacing, irritating, exfoliating, or drying active ingredients. Do not combine with glycolic acid, fruit acids, vitamin C, exfoliants, or alcohol-based formulas.
Always protect yourself from the sun.
The next morning, apply an SPF50 sunscreen to limit UV ray damage to your skin.
Cleanse and dry your skin.
Use a gentle cleanser to minimize irritation. Wait until your skin is completely dry before applying the serum, as water can increase absorption, potentially leading to more irritation.
Avoid sensitive areas.
Due to its drying power, retinol might damage the hydrolipidic film in delicate areas, such as the eye contour or lips.
